Born in the UK, 1958

In my adult life I've been backwards and forwards between the UK and France with my Family, probably much to their annoyance.

Well the boys are grown up now and in different universities, in different towns many kilometres apart in France, so I guess that means we should stay put for a while.



I started out in Photography, probably like lots of people of my age, many moons ago, on a Zenith camera and the model slips my mind. I moved on to a Ricoh model in the late 70's and early 80's. Then..........nothing, until I bought a Panasonic Bridge camera around five or six years ago. Not satisfied with the response time of a bridge I decided to get back into SLR mode, or DSLR to be more precise. I am using a Nikon D90 for all of the photos seen on this site with a multitude of gadgets I never knew existed until around a year ago, when an acquaintance of mine, who is a professional photographer, started giving me snippets of advice. I must say I am very grateful to him for giving me renewed passion for photography.
